I've finally entered the blogging world!

Aside from my "lurking" on The Nest, I am pretty clueless when it comes to this whole blogging business. I mean, I've heard of it and occasionally read friends' blogs, but never realized what all was involved. Where the heck have I been for the past few years?! Now, I am fully intrigued and definitely intend to investigate, learn, and attempt to enter into this world that somehow passed me by.

I am 24 years old and share a life with my wonderful husband, Mark. We don't have any kids yet, but earlier this year we decided to try out the responsibility of owning a dog...ya know, before we brought a kid into this world. I'm happy to say that we are surviving as doggy parents and have a beautiful (and slightly misbehaved) furbaby, Bella, who is a 9-month old cocker spaniel/American eskimo mix.

For the past 6 years, school and other daily life activities have consumed my life. Now that things have calmed down a bit and my husband and I are settling into our new life, I'm excited to dabble in this whole blogging thing!

My intentions for this blog are a little bit of everything. Mainly DIY and decorating with a little bit of daily life, work, marriage, and Bella thrown in for good measure. Enjoy!
